Entry Level Civil 3D Drafter

We are in search of talented entry level 3D Drafters. We are offering you the opportunity to work with experienced staff members to update CADWorx models of pipeline and petrochemical facilities and to cross-train in other areas including alignment sheet generation, use of Civil 3D and design work on pipeline replacement projects. The most important requirements for this position are an open mindset, a great attitude and a desire to learn.

• Complete 3D as-builts for pipeline facility projects (mainline valve sets, regulators, meters, filters, compressors, launcher/receivers, etc.)
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop Issue for Construction (IFC) design packages
• Complete self-checks to ensure all drawings meet client specifications
• Partner with project team on daily basis during design, coordinating with QC and other team members for continuity of deliverables

• Completion of CADWorx training program
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Projects, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment to meet and exceed client expectations

Desirable, but not required experience:

• Piping (pipe fab, facility experience, detailed design in 3D environment)
• Experience with Civil 3D
• Experience in the energy industry (midstream pipeline facilities & downstream processing facilities)
• Knowledge of industry standards ASME, ASTM, API, and ISO
