Altamira Appoints Dustin Sanchez to Lead GIS Strategy and Drive Geospatial Innovation

HOUSTON, TX  — Altamira is pleased to announce the recent new hire of Dustin Sanchez as our GIS Manager. In his role he will lead the development and delivery of advanced geospatial workflows supporting the oil and gas pipeline sector. Along with his team, he will be designing and implementing PHMSA-compliant solutions for High Consequence Area (HCA) analysis, spill run-out modeling, alignment sheet and mapbook automation and enterprise PODS/Esri APR data management.

By combining technical rigor with business insight, Dustin prides himself on helping pipeline operators and engineering partners streamline regulatory deliverables, improve data integrity and visualize critical infrastructure in real time. “Our group’s mission is to make GIS a force multiplier across Altamira’s engineering, integrity and environmental service lines — enabling safer operations, better decisions, and traceable, verifiable, complete (TVC) records,” said Dustin.
