Altamira’s Increasing Environmental and Engineering Program Management Depth in the Gulf Coast

Altamira is excited to announce the expansion of our capabilities to the Corpus Christi Region. Bryan Haney, P.G., has joined our team to support our continued efforts in providing clients with best-in-class environmental program solutions. A native of Corpus Christi, he brings a wealth of experience to the team. Bryan specializes in environmental assessment methods and remediation of affected soil and groundwater in the oil and gas industry. He has also managed and provided technical support for remediation projects including LNAPL pump and treat, soil vapor extraction, air sparge, bio-sparge, chemical reagent injection programs, large scale asbestos contamination and pipeline release cleanup.

Bryan is well versed in the Texas Railroad Commission and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality regulatory framework. He developed and implemented a tailored due diligence program for TxDOT for the review, assessment and purchase of commercial properties associated with major highway expansion. Utilizing his robust background, he will support the Altamira team by managing various environmental remediation and compliance projects and programs, as well as expand our presence to better support clients in central Texas and along the Texas Gulf Coast.

“Adding to Bryan’s diverse environmental background, his innovative and team-oriented approach to solving problems make him a good fit with our work culture”, says Beate Damm, VP Gulf Coast Operations.

To expand our engineering project and program capabilities, we are excited to announce Jay Dinklage has joined our Angleton office. Jay brings nearly 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry across the upstream, midstream and downstream market segments. Jay’s technical expertise includes engineering design and field troubleshooting related to fluid mechanics, valves, noise abatement, lubricants, engines, compressors and facilities. Specific applications include lubricant formulation and field technical support for onshore and offshore medium speed diesel engines and natural gas compressors. From FEED studies through final cleanup, Jay has in-depth experience in applying all aspects of technology used throughout the project lifecycle.

As a subject matter expert, Jay has authored two Society of Automotive Engineering papers presented in the US and Europe. He is also a proven leader in oil and gas production teams and in managing large natural gas pipeline flow reversal projects.

Beate Damm, VP Gulf Coast Operations said, “We are very pleased to have Jay on our team as he adds project engineering depth to our business. His initial focus will be developing programs for our downstream clients in engineering and construction oversight on pipeline replacement projects.”
